A flanged rim sherd probably of Roman date. Only the flange from the rim survives. The sherd has an orange coloured exterior and a grey core. There are frequent inclusions of small gritty inclusions and occasional dark angular inclusions.

A body sherd of Roman grey ware. The light grey fabric has dense small sparkly inclusions and occasional large angular dull inclusions. The front of the sherd has the remains of three horizontal lines, which may have decorated the vessel just beneath the rim.

A rim and body sherd or Roman greyware. The rim sherd has a single opaque creamy coloured inclusion and sparse circular dark grains. The body sherd has occasional dark coloured inclusions as well as very small glistening flakes. Both fabrics are light grey and heavily abraded.

The complete rim would have had a diameter of around 300mm and the weight of the sherd is 14.71g.
