One rim sherd and one miscellaneous fragment of Roman (AD 100-410) colour-coated earthenware, probably deigned to be red but the coat did not adhere (the red slip is now very abraded). The sherds collectively weigh 13.47g. The fabric is orange in colour and a soapy, micaceous ware without inclusions. It is from a fine walled vessel. The rim would have originally measured 180mm in diameter. The largest fragment measures 61x30mm, the smallest 12x15mm.
