A rim sherd of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel, of Roman dating (2nd to 4th Centuries AD).
The fragment consists of a rim sherd, in a greyware fabric, consistent with 2nd to 4th Century AD dating. The rim type is that of a rounded everted type, probably consistent with a storage bowl or jar. Not enough of the rim is present to allow an accurate determination of original rim diameter.

An incomplete Roman pipe clay Venus figurine, dating from AD 100-250. The remaining figurine consists of torso, upper legs and garment with the upper body, head and base broken and missing. This is Fittock Type 1, Garment B figurine.

A rim sherd from a small Roman flat rimmed jar, made from a coarse cream or yellow fabric, probably Portchester D ware, with abundant coarse sand, fine white mica and infrequent chalk inclusions. There is a decorative groove running around the exterior at the break in angle between the body and the neck. The original external rim diameter was around 180mm. Circa 4th century AD.

A sub-rectangular rim sherd of a Roman ceramic vessel, probably a bowl/cooking pot, dating to c. AD 43 - 410. The fabric is hard, obscured by soil residue possibly sand tempered. The exterior surface is black and has been burnished or coated with a dark grey to black slip. The interior of the vessel is grey, worn in places to reveal a reddish fabric with occasional fine quartz inclusions. There is a single band of narrow incised decoration running around the body

An abraded body fragment of Roman Samian ware, possibly part of the side of a South Gaulish (La Graufesenque) industry plate or shallow bowl of Form 18 or 18/31, dating to the mid-late 1st century, AD 70-110. The fabric is hard fired, bright pinkish-red, with a darker red slip. The fragment represents a portion where the side met the base with a distinct carination on the outer face. The sherd has worn breaks on all sides.
