A body sherd of hand made south-east Dorset black burnished 1 pottery of Roman date. The fabric contains abundant fine sand and moderate grains of rounded white quartz (up to 0.5mm). The exterior is a reduced dark grey/black and the interior is a reduced mid to dark grey.

Ten pieces of tile of probable Roman date. Three of the pieces are curving and probably formed part of imbrex roof tiles. One piece has a right-angled bend and was probably a tegula, a corresponding roof tile. The other six pieces are flat with scored parallel lines and probably formed part of box flue tiles.

A small assemblage of mid to late Roman pottery vessel sherds. There are six sherds of Nene Valley colour coated ware. Four of these possess dripped or rouletted decoration. A further sherd of pottery in a cream fabric with red painted decoration is identified tentatively as Oxfordshire painted ware.
