A rim fragment of a wheelmade ceramic vessel. The rim is slightly bulbous and ānā shaped in profile. The core and interior is a light grey and the exterior is a mottled grey/brown colour. The fabric has frequent, hard, angular, grey geological inclusions of varied size. The sherd weighs 14.48g.
The fabric is probably Malvernian Ware dating to the 2nd to 4th centuries. Refer to www.worcestershireceramics.org.

A rim sherd of a Roman Samian Ware vessel. The rim is profile is a sub-ānā shape with the exterior of the rim leaning outwards slightly. The interior has a small horizontal cordon below the rim. In profile the wall of the vessel is only slightly convex on the exterior and concave on the interior. The broken edges of the sherd are quite fresh. It weighs 2.9g.

A ceramic mortarium rim sherd. The fabric is quite hard with a fine texture and is an off-white colour. The vessel has small rounded white and pink quartz coloured situation grits. The rim is damaged and the complete profile does not remain. The sherd is abraded and is only a fragment of the complete vessel. It weighs 37.6g. The fabric is probably an Oxfordshire white mortarium which dates to the 2nd to 4th centuries.

A wheel made ceramic body sherd of an unknown vessel. The fabric is slightly soft, with a reduced grey core and oxidised orange surfaces. The exterior has a red/brown coloured slip applied and appears to have been burnished. Other decoration includes a row of rouletting. The sherd weighs 3.6g. A basesherd of a wheelthrown ceramic vessel.
The sherd is 5.18mm thick and weighs 3.5g. It is 18.33mm long and 24.44mm wide.
The sherd consists of a basesherd, in a pale yellow/orange body fabric, with a white slip on the internal surface. The fabric is suggestive of a local Romano-British coarseware and is generally consistent with a general Roman date (1st to 4th Century).
