x 2 base sherds of grey-ware. The fabric colour is grey and has small occasional inclusions. One base is narrow and incomplete and a small portion of the body remains. The underside of the base has a deep continuous groove near the outer edge. The base is expanded and the body of the sherd is straight and angled outwards only slightly. The second sherd is only a fragment of the base. It is heavily abraded.

3 x rim sherds of Oxford ware. The fabric is orange coloured with small occasional inclusions. On the surfaces there is traces of a deeper orange coloured wash/slip. On the first sherd the rim is wide and slightly convex. Only a small portion of the body remains. The body is angled suggesting the item may have been a dish/plate (46.64mm l x 38.74mm w x 7.98mm t) . The second sherd is narrow in section and is only slightly angled outwards below the rim. As decoration there is a horizontal groove with vertical ribbing within (33.19mm l x 14.72mm w x 6.09mm t). The third sherd has a 'D' …

On the exterior surface there is a trace of dark brown colour coated slip. The interior has a horizontal band of red slip as decoration. The decoration on the outer surface consists of a horizontal wide groove with vertical ribbing. Similar to WMID1597.

1 x rim sherd of earthen ware, possibly copying black burnished ware style.. The fabric has irregular sized inclusions, varying from small to large. The rim has an inverted 'L' shaped section with a curved edge. The fabric of this sherd is light grey which the exterior and interior have been oxidised. Decoration on the exterior is produced by a zigzag incised marks.
