Five tesserae. Two of grey (?)limestone, 26.40 x 2810mm; 17.37mm thickness, 37.34g and 24.22 x 24.05mm; 12.52mm thicknes, 25.67g respectively, one of white (?)limestone measuring 12.25 x 10.27mm and 9.76mm thickness, 4.48g and two of ceramic possibly re-shaped from tegula, measuring 18.41 x 21.41mm; 15.61mm thickness, 15.57g and 13.9 x 12.46mm; 10.28mm thickness, 4.45g respectively.

Two ceramic Roman tesserae, probably made from re-used tile. The upper surface of each shows signs of wear. There are spots of white mortar adhering to the sides. The fabric is red / orange with sandy inclusions. Both are roughly rectangular, one measures 24 x 28mm and is 17mm high, the other is 22 x 26mm and 22mm high. They weight 18.9 and 18.8g respectively.

Two Roman ceramic tesserae from a tessellated (mosaic) floor. These two pieces of mosaic were possibly cut from a tile. They are both formed from an orange fabric, with one clearly showing a dark grey band where the ceramic misfired. 1. 24.36mm x 25.89mm, 18.56mm thick. 19.54g. 2. 2. 26mm x 24.78mm. 17.74mm thick. 15.19g.
