A base sherd fragment from a wheel-thrown jar or flagon dating from the Roman period, c. AD 50-410.
The sherd consists of concave base which flares out to the lower section of the vessel wall. The base interior is convex, tapering gently from the edges to the centre. The core fabric is pale grey with occasional voids and small dark inclusions. The external and internal margin fabric is an oxidised dull buff orange colour. A body sherd fragment from a Gaulish samian-ware hemispherical bowl dating to the Roman Period, c. AD 180-220.
The sherd is five sided and has moulded decoration consisting of panels divided by rope twist borders. Within the panel on this sherd is a male figure standing left, holding objects in both hands. The fabric is pale orange with small white inclusions. The external and internal surfaces are coated in a red slip. This is abraded with slip worn away from the high points of the moulded decoration.

The sherd is five sided and has moulded decoration consisting of what appears to be panels divided by rope twist borders. Within the panel on this sherd is a single annulet. The fabric is a dull pale orange colour with no obvious inclusions. The external and internal surfaces are coated in a red slip. A fragment of a Terra sigillata, or Samian Ware, ceramic dish of Roman date, c.AD 43 - 250.
The fragment is a body sherd with a soft, soapy texture, orange fabric and glossy red slip on the exterior surface. All edges are worn and broken.
The outer surface also incomplete decoration featuring a partial human figure with a zig-zag vertical line to one side. The interior of the dish is undecorated.
The fragment is 37.8mm long, 30.4mm wide, 9.6mm thick and weighs 13.3g.

A rim sherd of a ceramic amphora dating to the Roman period, c. AD 43-250.
The sherd is roughly rectangular in plan and drop-shaped in profile. Handmade from a distinctive thick oxidised gritty fabric. The external fabric is a pale-buff pink colour with abundant grey and brown grit inclusions of <1mm. The internal fabric is a dull grey colour with these same inclusions. The breaks are well worn. The rim has a projected diameter of 170mm.

A fragment of a ceramic mortarium of Roman date, c. AD 200-410.
The fragment is a rim sherd of a Roman mortarium. The rim is upturned, double flanged, and forms an exterior edge which is decorated with at least four narrow grooves. The fabric is severely abraded on all faces and is a heavily sand-tempered reduced grey ware. Large black inclusions are present on the interior surface of the mortarium. Any original slip or surface decoration is now lost. The rim has a projected diameter of 280mm.

The fragment is a sherd of a slipped Samian (Terra Sigillata) platter incuding incomplete footring, wall and base. The interior of the platter features a rouletting design. The fabric is worn and hard with a pinkish-brown colour and a glossy red slip covering the less worn surfaces.
The sherd measures 79.19mm in length, 31.26mm in width, 24.39mm in height, 11.35mm in thickness and 42.72g in weight.

Decorated on the exterior face with a moulded pattern consisting of a band of linked pellets above rectangles formed of pellets above a stepped band.
