A small assemblage of ceramic tile dating to the Roman period, c. 43-410 AD. The group consists 17 small to large size fragments, of which five are pieces of tegula, four imbrex, six combed hypocaust 'box flue' fragments and two indeterminate smaller pieces. All are a bright orange colour and heavily abraded. Combined weight: c. 2000g.

A very worn and abraded body sherd of Nene Valley colour coated ware, dating c. AD 150-400. The internal fabric is a whitish buff colour, solidly fired with no trace of inclusions.On both the inner and outer surfaces, the remains of an applied black slip are visible. Preserved in heavily abraded condition, it measures 43.22mm long down its longest axis, 9.85mm thick at its midpoint, and weighs 23.17g.

A fragment of a Roman Samian ware vessel, dating to AD 120-300. It is a body sherd af an undiagnostic vessel form. It is slightly curved in profile. The fragment has a stamped decoration on the front face depicting plant motifs. The back face is plain. Both faces have the redish brown slip and the fabric has an uniform light pink colour. Length: 35.44 mm Width: 31.70mm Thickness: 5.07 mm Weight: 6.35 g
