An incomplete copper-alloy double-headed button and loop fastener of Roman date, c.AD 43-200. The head is pointed ovate with a central raised circular boss within a deep circumferential recess. The pointed terminal has a slight raised lenticular moulding which tapers into the point. An integral shank extends down from the reverse of the boss and bends at 90 degrees where it widens into a second head. The orientation of the shank results in the heads being on different plains. A complete copper-alloy enamelled button and loop fastener of Roman date, c.AD 43-200. Wild Class VIa variant. The head is formed of a flat rectangular plate. Decoration on this plate consists of red and yellow enamel, set within three parallel square cells with yellow enamel set in the middle cell and red enamel present in the two flanking cells. A complete copper-alloy finger ring of Roman date, c. AD 43-200. Henig Type II. The object is composed of an oval shaped bezel, set with undecorated blue glass enamel, from which narrowing plain shoulders extend to either side. The band continues to narrow to the reverse and loops completely. There is no decoration visible on the band of the object. The metal is dark green in colour with a worn smooth patina.
