An incomplete copper-alloy Roman centre looped cosmetic pestle. It is formed from a long curved rod, circular in cross-section and becoming narrower towards each end, which terminates in a blunt point, one of which terminates in an old break.  Projecting from the centre of the upper edge is a flattened sub-circular loop, which is circular in cross-section. A complete copper-alloy Roman probable furniture fitting or handle. The object consists of a decorative knob comprising, from base to apex, a disc-shaped section encircled by a grooved line; a spool-shaped section; a rounded, inverted conical knob flaring into a disc at its upper end and a flattened knob at the apex. The lower face of the knob has the remains of an iron attachment component. A probable copper-alloy Roman hair pin or furniture nail - the shaft is corroded and incomplete and tapers to a point, with only a corroded head remaining. The head is globular in shape, with no visible collar. The surface is pitted and uneven. It is similar to examples seen in Crummy, 1989, pg 115, fig116 - globular, bun-shaped heads. 4 fragments of a puddingstone quern of probable Roman date. Puddingstone is distinctive conglomerate containing rounded red flint pebbles within a siliceous matrix, the main sources of which lie in Hertfordshire. A fragment of a copper-alloy Roman brooch. Only part of the bow and catchplate remain, it is very worn. The bow is flat, with rectangular cross section, on the front face are two longitudinal grooves below which is a moulded transverse groove, which tapers into a triangular shape before terminating in an old break.
