Terminal end of weighing arm in the form of a flat strip of metal approx. 10mm wide and 3.5mm thick. The strip is accompanied by three circular apertures; one placed centrally through the metal at the rounded terminal and the others within oval lugs which protrude from either side of the arm. The latter are associated with the corroded remains of iron rivets. The holes would have originally suspended the scale-pan and counterweights.
