Copper alloy possible finger ring. Cast D-section band, slightly narrowed at one point which, if indeed a finger ring, would be opposite the bezel. The latter, and the rest of the band, is plain. Abraded. The wearing of finger rings was a men’s custom for the Romans, and this band would have to be for a youth or gracile individual if indeed worn on the finger. Suggested date: possibly Roman, 43-410
