A Roman copper alloy finger ring. The ring has an oval recessed bezel with the remains of a grey-brown coloured paste or concretion at the base. The shoulders are plano-convex in section and taper to the break. The ring is Henig type II/Guiraud type 2c and dates to the 1st to 3rd century AD.

An incomplete copper-alloy spoon of Roman date (c. 150-410). Description: The object consists of an oval bowl, with a small part of the handle still remaining which tapers on the underside. The bowl is concave, oval, and appears to have been silvered or tinned. Very little wear is visible to the bowl edges. Discussion: Crummy's Type 2 spoons were thought to have been in production by the first half of the second century (Crummy 1983:69 after Waugh and Goodburn 1972:124).
