A lead potmend of Roman to medieval date. The mend comprises two irregular oval panels joined by a central stem. One side is smooth and concave showing where the soft lead was pressed to form a join. The other side is irregular. Between the two panels is a piece of body sherd. The sherd is reduced and has quartz of varying size.
