A ?base silver/ copper-alloy tinned finger ring of keeled type dating to the third or fourth century AD. The finger ring possesses an oval hoop which is rectangular in section. The hoop expands to form the flat triangular shoulders which are decorated with marginal grooves and notches. The bezel is circular in plan with an integrally-cast raised setting, which is incised with three triangles. The internal ring diameter (lengthwise) is 20mm and 18mm (vertically). A base-silver pendant, possibly Roman in date. The pendant comprises a flat, crescentic body, which extends to a irregular, lozengiform attachment loop with circular perforation which is turned through 90 degrees to the body. The upper surface of the body is decorated with moulded circular knops flanked by pairs of diagonal moulded ribs.
