Copper alloy coin. Possibly an as or dupondius of an indeterminate early Roman ruler; no clear detail discerned on either side, and fiercely worn and abraded. The magnified view prepared to illustrate this record may show traces of a radiate crown, which would point to the coin being a worn dupondius. Suggested date: Early Roman, 43-200. Obverse description: possibly radiate bust right. Diameter: 26mm, Weight: 6.30gms
