An unidentified fragment, probably of a silver object; (possibly of copper alloy with a high tin content), of suggested Roman date c. AD 43-410. The fragment is flat with one face decorated in cast relief comprising a curved band of cabling and feathering, possibly depicting hair.  The reverse is undecorated and slightly convex with a silvery surface with irregular pitting.
