Copper alloy point. A strip of thick [1.3-1.6mm] sheet metal with an angled point at one end, folded roughly in half. The other end is cut square. This might have seen use as an improvised cosmetic implement or nail cleaner. Suggested date: possibly Roman, 43-410. Length (as found): 31.9mm, Width (of strip): 5.1mm, Thickness: 1.6mm, Weight: 2.92gms

The tip of a worked bone implement. Possibly the end of a needle or perhaps a hairpin. The item is shaped to a point and is polished in parts. The shape is very irregular and worn with a sub-oval section. Possibly Iron Age - Roman.

Point, length 43mm, width 14mm, thickness 5mm. The artefact is a broken and only the tip remains. From the slightly rounded tip the sides gently expand outwards giving the impression that in its original form the artefact may have been long and slender. There is a riser on both the left and right side, thus giving it a rhombus shaped cross-section, this shape makes it more likely to be a fragment of a weapon, rather than a knife.
