Roman? copper alloy dish, 45mm in diamter and 7mm deep. It consists of a dished circle which has the remmants of three iron attachments equally spaced on the upper surface. It may be a steelyard pan; Richard Knox thinks it is too heavy for a balance pan. The object is in fair condition, is 42mm long, 40mm wide, 10mm thick and weighs 22.27g.
