A bone marker dating to the Roman period. The body is rectangular in plan and slightly convex in section, while the head is round and flat. At one end of the body, there are two notches situated opposite each other on the outer edges. These notches appear worn perhaps suggesting a cord had been tied around them. Horizontal scratches (use-wear?) are visible on the convex surface of the body, whereas the flat surface is not scratched. Two prominent gouges may represent post-depositional damage.
