An incomplete cast copper-alloy harness pendant likely to be part of the military parade uniform of the Roman cavalry, probably in the later 1st century AD, although no exact parallel could be found. The pendant is trefoil in shape, now missing one side lobe due to old breaks, the other two surviving lobes are rounded and taper to a terminal with a rounded projecting knob at their tips. Incomplete lunular or crescentic Roman copper-alloy harness pendant. Approximately seventy-five per cent is extant, including the integral suspension loop, which is set perpendicular to the crescentic body. One end of the body is original, the other end terminates in a work break a few millimetres to one side of the loop. The crescent seems to follow an oval arc, being probably originally larger in its horizontal than its vertical dimension. An incomplete copper-alloy Roman Phallic harness pendant dating to c. AD 43-410. It is missing the triangular upper shoulders as noted on similar phallic pendants (for example DENO-C0709A). The pendant comprises a triangular plate with an incomplete integral suspension loop projecting from the centre of the top of the triangle. Below the loop are two narrow incised grooves which appear to make the triangular plate resemble a heart-shape. The object is sub-heart shaped in plan with an integral upper suspension loop, which is circular with a central circular perforation set at 90 degrees to the plain of the pendant. An incomplete Roman copper alloy military harness pendant dating to the 1st century AD. The pendant has a worn sub-oval body formed of two rounded lobes or wings. An incomplete shank for a loop extends in the centre above. A collared knop extends below. Either side of the suspension loop, there are incised nicks that are angled towards each other. The base of the 'heart' section leads to a phallic member with a discoid, elongated glans.
