MARTI PACIFE reverse type depicting Mars, walking left, holding olive-branch in right hand and spear and shield in left hand. C mint, probably (S?) (P?) // C. . RIC V, pt 2 -. The style of the coin places it in the S P // C, rather than C or S C // C, series. As such, it is a new variety and will be included in Sam Moorhead;s new edition of RIC for Carausius and Allectus.
