A complete Roman base silver finger ring dating to circa AD 200-410. It is polygonal, comprised of eight facets (octagonal). The bezel has a moulded, broadly circular base silver setting projecting from its external face. The hoop is rectangular-sectioned and tapers gently inwards from the maximum width of the shoulders to a narrow base. The shoulders and hoop are plain.
