Enamelled disc brooch with sunburst derivative pattern in outer register - 9 remaining tongue-shaped cells of blue enamel uncertain colour enamel in fields between (probably originally had 11 cells). Umbonate centre piece decorated with 5 ovoid cells in blue, indeterminate colour in fields between, deep channel between umbo and surrounding register. Chain loop missing as is most of opposing lug, 4 remaining smaller lugs which appear to have been equally spaced - 3 either side

Hod Hill type with a gently curving trapezoidal bow with prominent central bit and two sets of median flutes in lower relief either side. Two simple side knops at top of bow with flutes continuing on to wings, head damaged and partial, with transverse ridge at junction with bow, and again between bow which tapers slightly and foot plate, which is 'waisted', lower part has 6 transverse ridges above foot knop. Catchplate runs length of foot which shows the remains of red enamel.
