Dark blue opaque glass Intaglio. Oval gem stone with bevelled upper edge, flat behind. A naturalistically carved motif presents a male nude figure standing right, probably helmetted - or alternatively with a pudding basin haircut - standing left, holding an object in his outstretched right hand: this is probably a severed head; and a staff in his left. A long shaggy cloak hangs over his shoulders reaching down to his calves.
