Copper alloy with gilding Belt Mount. Cast rectangular plate with serrated long edges, bevelled ends, and a large central ring and dot flanked by two domed rivet heads of diameter 7.8mm. The display face is gilded. The rivets protrude onto the flat plain back where their shanks are 2.9mm in diameter. Suggested date: Late Roman, 200-350. Length: 30mm, Width: 17.9mm, Thickness (plate): 1.9mm, Weight: 6.51gms.

Copper alloy with blue enamel Fitting. Cast pin with round section shank of diameter 4.7mm, expanded to form a rounded flat-topped head which bears a single circular panel of degraded blue enamel of diameter 5.5mm. The lower end of the shank appears to bear three bands of screw thread, though the nature and condition of the object, and in particular the enamel, argues against this being a recent object. Suggested date: Early Roman, 70-150. Length: 25.4mm, Diameter (head): 9.9mm, Weight: 4.46gms.

Copper alloy with red and blue enamel Brooch. Umbonate Disc Brooch, as identified by finder. Cast concavo-convex plate with hinged pin and the stub of catch-plate extending beyond the back. A decorative scheme comprises an outer circumferential order of 14 triangles of which seven retain blue enamel, and an inner order of (probably) 14 smaller triangles, of which seven retain traces of red and blue enamel, alternating. Cast head with three coils of a spring, bow narrowing to a collar and acanthus-derived ornament, below which the bow assumes an angular profile and narrows; the stub of a catch-plate remains on the reverse. An open silver wire link of diameter 1.3mm is looped around the upper part of the bow. Heavily abraded and corroded. Suggested date: Early Roman, 100-150.
