An incomplete copper alloy arm from a pair Roman or Early Medieval tweezers, c. 43-700 AD.  Made from a single sheet of copper alloy, the artefact comprises a splayed triangular plate tapering upwards into an integral arm which has been broken. Very faint transverse line decoration is visible at the junction between the plate and the arm. The metal has a mid-green and brown patina and is very worn with large patches of visible corrosion. Complete copper alloy Roman lunula pendant, c. AD 43-410. The artefact is a flat crescent or pelta shaped  pendant with bevelled edges and rounded terminals. Both faces are plain. The outer edge at the widest part of the crescent is slightly chipped, probably resulting from use or post-depositional factors. The pendant has an overall greenish patina with a wedge-shaped area of dark brown patina at the widest part of the pendant. There is one small fragment of surviving gilding. Cast in one piece, the artefact consists of a drop shaped plate with flat reverse and central circular pellet set within a circumferential recess on the obverse. A silver Roman 'Legionary' denarius of Mark Antony (BC 42-30) dating to 32-31 BC (Reece Period 1).  The obverse is very worn but the outline of a boat can be discerned although the legend is illegible. The reverse legend is also illegible but the central image of the aquila standard and one other standard are visible.  These coins were struck by Mark Antony between 32-31 BC in travelling mints for use by his fleets in the lead up to the Battle of Actium. Fragment of a copper alloy and enamel terret ring from the Late Iron Age/early Roman period, c. BC 100-AD 100. The artefact consists of a fragment of the copper alloy terret ring, broken at both ends and tapering from the base to the sides of the ring. Incomplete copper alloy sestertius of Commodus dated to AD 181. Obverse features the laureate bust of Commodus. The bust is severely worn, but it is possible to identify some of the hair curls and the tassle at the back of the laureate. Reverse features the worn figure of a left facing Annona holding ears of corn in her right hand and a cornucopia in her left hand. The coin has an uneven flan suggesting it has been clipped and on both faces the legends have worn away.

Near complete copper alloy miniature votive axe of Roman date (c. 43-410 AD). The artefact has been integrally cast, with a broadly trapezoidal axehead. The haft extends at right angles from the axehead, and the butt extends beyond. Complete Roman copper alloy button and loop fastener of Wild Class III dating from AD 50-200. It has a bevelled openwork petal shaped head (internal diameter: 11.74mm), concave on the obverse and convex on the reverse. A central ridge on the exposed portion of the head mirrors the hook of the loop which projects 90 degrees from the head extending to a sub-triangular openwork attachment loop (internal length: 6.79mm). The axis is broken on the left side and part of the hinge pin survives. This resembles a simpler form of  Mackreth 1.a1b (image 5021, plate 78 page 81) which is dated to post-Antonine (after c. 142AD).
