A complete cast copper alloy terret ring of Lewis 2015, Type 19 dating from the Roman period (c.AD 43-200). An early Romano British or Roman cast copper alloy dropped-bar strap terret ring, of continental influenced or imported form. The terret consists of a circular loop of 30.71 mm diameter with a widened  outer edge and a sub-triangular cross section. Below is a flaring rectangular bar loop, 22.67 mm wide, with a strap bar. An incomplete copper-alloy spoon of Roman date (c. 150-410). Description: The object consists of an oval bowl, with a small part of the handle still remaining which tapers on the underside. The bowl is concave, oval, and appears to have been silvered or tinned. Very little wear is visible to the bowl edges. Discussion: Crummy's Type 2 spoons were thought to have been in production by the first half of the second century (Crummy 1983:69 after Waugh and Goodburn 1972:124).
