An incomplete, heavily abraded Roman brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill type dating from AD 90-130. The brooch has been heavily abraded during its time in the soil. It is undecorated. The bow is hump-shaped, and less than half of it remains. The foot and catch plate have been lost. One of the two wings has been broken off, the other remains which is semi-cylindrical in shape. The head of the brooch is 20.8mm wide, including the wings which are semi-cylindrical in shape. The caps at the end of the wings which would have held the spring and coil in place are missing. A near complete cast copper alloy Roman Trumpet brooch of Group A, dating from AD 75 - 150. The bow of the brooch has an angular profile and an angular D shaped cross section. The bow tapers from a flared head to a flared bulbous foot knop. The head of the brooch is nearly complete, it is oval in plan, and tapers into the bow. A complete copper alloy Roman phallic mount. The object is convex and 'T-shaped' in plan, the phallus itself being triangular in cross-section and its straight sides gradually converging towards the raised, moulded tip. At the other end, the testicles project at a right angle from either side of the phallus with an oblique grooves separating the rounded testicles from the base of the phallus.
