The reverse of the coin features an image of Venus with sceptre in biga (chariot with two horses running) right. Above the horses' heads Cupid flies left with a wreath, towards Venus. Two silver Roman finger-rings (one fragment, one incomplete) found within a couple of metres of each other. Finger-ring one: An incomplete Roman (AD 200-300) silver finger-ring of a 'keeled type' (Henig type VIII), seemingly missing its setting and the back of the hoop. The breaks are recentish. The bezel is sub-oval in shape with four angular ‘corners’. It is and 0.9mm thick and flat, and carries traces of possible solder or fixant from a missing setting.
