A complete copper-alloy Roman Colchester derivative hinged brooch. It has moulded wings and grooves on the bow, complete except for the pin. The wings have incised five transverse lines with a pronounced central humped bow. The flat-backed bow has two grooves either side of the central band which has a moulded groove at the top. Evidence of a white metal coating.

This is a fragment of a rectangular tile with flat faces, with broken edges and corners. The obverse is scored with regular lines to help mortar to adhere to the surface. The breaks around the edges mean that no corners survive that indicate whether this is a wall or floor tile.
