Base sherd of Roman probable locally produced imitation ware (or possibly Samian ware although the fabric is perhaps a little too crude). Measures 66.4x46.5x(max)13.4mm and weighs 25.5g. The fabric is sandy with some medium sized quartz inclusions. The slip is browny-red in colour. The original diameter would have been c.20cm.

Flanged rim fragment of probable Oxfordshire White-Ware. The fabric is pinky in colour with a white coating. The fragment measures 63.6x53.1x5.2mm (rim hangs 19.9mm and is 11mm thick) and weighs 40.93g. The fragment is probably from a large jar or bowl c.240mm in diameter (possibly a storage jar). It probably dates to the 2nd-4th century.

Rim fragment of Oxfordshire White-Ware mortaria, including part of pouring lip. The rim is grooved and drops curving downwards, with an additional groove flanking this bottom edge. Possibly Young's type M22. The fragment measures 122x97x10.8mm (rim 12mm thick) and weighs 264.04g. The fabric is white in colour with a tinge of red and set with rounded red and black inclusions on the inside surface. This ware was produced from the second to the end of the fourth century.
