A sherd of a ceramic Vessel of Roman date (AD 43-200). The sherd is probable of Gaulish Samian ware. This example is probably from vessel of Dragendorff 18-31, a bowl or dish. The rim sherd has a small projecting rolled lip. The body has repeating concentric circular grooves around the outer surface. The fabric is grey in colour with no visible inclusions. There is a minor amount of glossy orange glaze retained under the rim, and the surface has been fragmented, with three sections of the sherd retained.

An incomplete copper-alloy Headstud Brooch of Roman date (AD 75-200). The head of the brooch comprises two rectangular wings, the reverse of which are concave. The back of the wings and head retain the remains of an integral lug and a short section of an upper projecting forward curved hook which would have held the pin mechanism.

The object is composed of a circular flat disc form with an integrally cast motif composed of three, concentric, raised annular circular ridges between which is infilled enamel. The central cell is empty, the inner cell retains red enamel and the outer cell retains a blue enamel. The back of the object retains two perforated, projecting lugs, the axis bar, pin and catchplate are missing. There is a small break on the outer edge of the object.

An incomplete copper-alloy Trumpet-headed brooch of Roman date (AD 80-150). Mackreth 2011, Trumpet Type 3.
The head is ovate with a hollow reverse with two slightly projecting, perforated lugs, which would have housed the now missing pin mechanism. An incomplete cast copper alloy finger ring, probably of Roman date (c. 1st-3rd century AD), with a large flat oval or sub-hexagonal bezel, 11.6mm wide which sits in-line with the hoop and has incised decoration comprising four short lines apparently radiating from a pair of punched dots. The hoop has an internal diameter of 17.8mm with a sub-triangular section. It tapers sharply and smoothly from the bezel ending in breaks on either side. The alloy has a high tin content and is patinated a deep grey-green with pitting.
