The object is composed of an upper central bead with a waisted fluted section and a double, conical collar which is decorated with repeating diagonal incised lines, below which extends a circular sectioned, tapered shaft. The shaft terminates in a point. The metal is dark green in colour with a slightly pitted patina. A fragment of a copper-alloy Roman bracelet dating to circa AD 43-55. It consists of a sub-rectangular sheet with the front face slightly convex. The breaks on each side suggest that the fragment is not a terminal corner. The front face is decorated with parallel bands of incised groves.
