An incomplete cast copper-alloy bow brooch of Hod Hill type dating to the Roman period, c. 43-75 AD. It demonstrates a rolled head, bifurcated at its midpoint by a rectangular cut-out for the pin axis bar, which is now missing along with the pin, lower bow and catchplate of the brooch. The upper bow tapers inwards before abruptly flaring out to form a plain sub-rectangular central body, from either side of which two sub-rectangular lappets demonstrating moulded transverse collars project. Roman cast copper alloy finger ring, incomplete; late 1st-2nd century. The back and one side of the hoop is missing; the remaining part of the hoop is bent outwards; it is circular-sectioned. The bezel is an expanded oval decorated with a relief moulded cross; the resulting four cells may once have contained enamel - there appears to be a tiny trace of red enamel within one of the cells. Length (distorted) 22.2mm, width of bezel 8.3mm, thickness of bezel 2.4mm, width of hoop 1.9mm, thickness of hoop 1.6mm, weight 1.41g. Daubney Group 3a (quarters) (unpub).

Roman cast copper alloy T-shape brooch with ?spring mechanism, incomplete, 1st-2nd century. The ?spring and pin are missing. There is a lug at the back of the head which presumably held the spring, but there is no upper hook or piercing to take the chord. The short, narrow wings (length c.6.5mm, width 3mm-4mm, thickness 2.3mm) are D-shepd in section (flat on the back) and decorated with numerous (7?) transverse narrow ridges.
