A complete lead-alloy spindle whorl of Medieval to Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1100 - 1600. Walton Rogers Form A2.
The spindle whorl is shaved bi-conical (asymmetrical) with a central perforation running through it. Both surfaces have faint traces of moulded decoration though the object is worn obscuring the exact design. The design appears to contain small rectangular cells on the faces and exterior edges.
The metal has a mid-white patina and is worn. The spindle whorl is 29.32mm in diameter, 10.79mm thick and weighs 44.18g. The perforation is 10.86mm in diameter suggesting a…

An incomplete cast copper-alloy object of likely medieval to post-medieval date c.AD500-1700). The has a central moulded bar consisting of two cylindrical shapes separated by a groove. The face of the object has an X inscribed on each of these cylinders whereas the reverse is undecorated. There is a horn like projection from each side that curves upwards and terminates at a break.
The object has similarities to Class M double sharp-hooked claps which hate to the early medieval period. Similar examples on the database include NMS-8DA3D8 and SF-5B9904. Read (2008, 40) notes…

A cast copper-alloy thimble of medieval date (c.AD 1330-1400). The thimble has a circular base that has been distorted to an oval shape and is domed and decorated with circular holes spiralling up to a small tonsure at the crown. There is a border of a singe line incised around the open end.
Dimensions: Diameter 18.8mm, Thickness 12.0mm, Weight 2.79g.

An incomplete copper-alloy gilded possible Limoges-style strap fitting or buckle plate of medieval date, c.AD 1150 - 1350.
The object is sub-triangular with a forked terminal formed of two sub-rectangular strips which curve round slightly before terminating in worn breaks. Two circular perforations are present to the corners of the wider end.
The upper surface of the object is decorated in low relief with a possible winged figure, possibly representing the angel of St Matthew. The figure is depicted only from the waist up. The reverse is flat and undecorated.

An incomplete copper-alloy buckle of medieval date, c.AD 1250 - 1400.
The buckle has a single looped oval frame with integral lobed knops to either end of the bar. An integral plate expands from behind the bar and is narrowed and framed at each end by a transverse moulding. The terminal end is broken and worn. A barrel moulding is present at the centre of the plate with a circular perforation through it. The reverse is flat and undecorated.
The metal has a mid-green patina and is worn. The buckle is 41.2mm long, 14.3mm wide, 2mm thick and weighs 2.3g.
