An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval non-armorial harness pendant. It is worn,and broadly crescent shaped, with an extant harness suspension loop. There is some visible decoration in the form of stamped circular dots, creating a lozenge shape. It's shape, decoration and design suggest an earlier date 12th/13th century, with similar shapes seen in Ashley, 2002, pg 5, fig 5, 1-3.

A fragment from a copper-alloy socketed axehead of Bronze Age date. Only the socket end of the axe remains, and it has post-depositional damage. It is broadly trapezoidal in shape, and is hollow. At the socket end the rim in thickened. Along one outer edge is the remains of a longitudinal casting seam.There is a similar example recorded on the PAS database (SF-CA59D7).
This socket measures 43.02mm in length, 47.15mm in width, 4.77m in thickness, 47.86g in weight.

A fragment of a copper-alloy medieval to post-medieval cast cooking vessel. It is a foot for a cooking vessel, which is rectangular in cross section.
Cooking vessel such as this one were in use for a long period, first becoming common during the 13th and 14th centuries, with little change in form well into the post medieval period (Butler and Green 2003, 27).

An incomplete copper-alloy Roman Colchester derivative rear hook bow brooch. It is missing the spring, pin, catchplate and part of the foot due to old breaks. The wings are semi-cylindrical in form decorated on their front faces with transverse moulded grooves. At the centre of the head is an integrally cast rear facing hook that would have originally held in place the now missing spring. A secondary flake with retouching dating to the Bronze Age.It has been manufactured from a fine grained grey flint core with remains of cortex. The ventral face bears concentric ripples and the dorsal face has a longitudinal ridge along the axis; it shows traces of previous knapping. The edges of the flake have traces of sub-parallel abrupt retouches.

A fragment of a copper-alloy Girdle Hanger or symbolic key dating to the Early Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) period, c. 480-570AD. The bottom of the shaft and part of E-shaped terminal are preserved. It is decorated with transverse grooves and ring and dot motif. It is a Felder type B2f, inclined upward closed terminal frame with plain prong ends.
This is an Early Anglo-Saxon girdle hanger, an object typically found in burial contexts associated with women. It finds parallels in other examples from Suffolk (see for example West, 1998: nos. 36.2, 53.1-2).

A complete cast copper-alloy end-looped cosmetic pestle dating to the late Iron Age or early Roman period, c. 1-200 AD. It consists of a flattened sub-circular sectioned rod with one end pointed and the other demonstrating an integrally cast end-loop. It is plain with no decorative elements. It measures 49.38mm in length, 4.53mm in width and 8.95g in weight.
