An unidentified, copper alloy artefact of unknown date, Roman to Post Medieval, AD 43 - 1700. It is a strip of sheet copper alloy, which is broken at both ends. The long edges are gently curved so the strip is wider in the middle. There is a near right angle bend near each end. These are probably original, because the decoration on the centre of the strip stops short of the bends. The decoration is a pair of simple wide longitudinal grooves. The strip is 13.5mm long, 6mm wide and 6.6mm thick. It weighs 0.4g. It has a bright bluish green patina and is smooth and glossy.

A rectangle of lead sheet which is folded in half and crimped together at the edge. Date unknown, but the condition of the metal makes a Post Medieval date most likely, AD 1500 - 1800. The object is rectangular in plan, pointed oval in profile, and is a parallelogram in cross-section. One edge is bent. The others appears to have crimped seams, partially separated in one corner. The artefact has a thickened central area and it is theorised that the lead may be folded round a coin or other object to make a small container. The lead has a mid grey patina and a pitted surface. There is and integral smaller inner curved bar on part of the inner edge. This might have formed part of an openwork triskele design. Both ends of the bars are broken. The grooves are also decorated. A copper alloy sub-rectangular thick plaque of metal - an unidentified and incomplete object of uncertain date, AD 43 -1800. In its broken form it is almost square, leading to a possible interpretation as a coin weight. One edge is rounded and appears to be original. The last is fairly flat but may be a patinated break. Thre is no visible decoration. Measurements are; length 16.8mm, width 16.4mm, thickness 5.6m…
