A copper alloy fragment comprising a metal strip, 126.7mm long and 11mm wide, with three circular holes of 3.6mm diameter. The middle hole has a domed copper alloy stud or knob 8.7mm in diameter; the two at either end have broken across the width of the strip. Both edges of the strip are chamfered (from opposing sides), one has file marks along it. There is no decoration or other marks. Of uncertain function but possibly a furniture or other type of fitting of post medieval date.
