Copper alloy possible trivet fragment. A small cast tapered leg of trapezoid section with a plain everted foot at its narrower end, and with a flat top, the latter apparently a segment of a ring broken on all its edges, and possibly canted when complete. Polished by wear. An identification as a pot leg was kindly suggested by the finder, but the polished top does not bear any trace of the wall of the putative hollow vessel supported by the leg. Copper alloy probable trivet fragment. Openwork leg from a composite stand. The leg is of a curvilinear form, with a bifurcated end which would rest on a flat surface, and with a small trapezoid slot at the other, looped, end, which would receive the edge of a ring stand or similar object. Both sides of the object are decorated with vegetal and floral motifs, probably stamped by machine. As the finder kindly notes, this might initially be taken for a decorative furniture mount, were its decoration not bilateral. Similar means of construction and support appears on table decorations or…

Copper alloy possible trivet fragment. Segment, possibly from a cast rectangular section ring of diameter 100mm with a protruding 'leg' with one curved side and one flat. The 'leg' is flush with the inner surface of the putative ring but angled with reference to its outer circumference. Alternative origins for this object might include a decorative fender.
