An almost complete Medieval copper alloy sundial or compendium with sundial, compass and nocturnal (missing), dating to c. AD 1450-1500.  The find is circular in plan with a circular internal hinged hour ring which bears the remains of possibly Germanic Roman numerals in black letter script.
