Cast copper alloy belt loop, length 20mm, width 16mm thickness 7mm, weight 2.47g. Asymmetrical frame, the forward edge is oval whilst the rear edge is rectangular, both are separated by an off centre horizontal bar two thirds of the way down. The oval edge is expanded at the front into an acorn terminal with crosshatch decoration The overall condition is good with a mid green patina, only slight pitting in some areas from corrosion. This artefact Dates to 1250-1450.
