Part of a copper alloy enamelled hinged fitting dating from the Post Medieval period. It is square with two tubular fitting on one side which would have interacted with a similar central tube on the missing half of the hinge, via an axis bar. There is also a small square transverse suspension loop in the centre of the top edge. Unusually, both faces of the hinge plate are decorated, so either it is unclear how the hinge fitted to any larger object.
