Complete sandstone grain rubber of unknown date. Length 77mm, diameter 93mm. Weight 966g. The rubber is sub-spheroidal in form and sub-circular in plan and the underside is slightly convex. Consequently, it could be described as being dome-shaped. The shape has probably been achieved by pecking and then finished by grinding. A large indentation on the curved side has peck marks on its surfaces. Therefore, this indented feature appears to have been deliberately created and is not an accidental break.
