A thin casing of reddish gold with a billeted band passing round three sides to afford grip and with a billeted frame for a flat polished opaque black glass gem engraved with the image of a snake passing left through long grass, with the reversed legend above: BEWARE. An incomplete copper alloy fob dangler dating to the Iron Age to Roman period (c. 200 BC- AD 100). The object consists of a flat ring that is mostly complete. Within and integral to the ring is an open triskele pattern of which one of the three arms is missing. In the centre of the triskele projects an integral bar that is cylindrical in shape and at the top of which is an open loop for attachment. The loop has a diameter of 16.4mm. A gold circular hoop or ring with a tubular element projecting at one point, that could be part of a swivel fitting, probably from a fob or watch chain. The object has no hallmarks or stamps, but the condition, style and construction suggest a Modern date of AD 1800 - 1980. The hoop is circular in cross-section. The tubular fitting has a square base with a circular recess, and then a reel moulded circular tube that passes completely through the hoop. It is 24.6mm long, 23.1mm wide and 3mm thick. 2.6g.

Incomplete Post Medieval-Modern possible fob attachment, c.AD 1800-1900. This is a possible fob attachment that is made from a rounded lozenge-shaped plate, decorated with six evenly-spaced rounded knops along either side. The obverse is decorated with a floral motif within a single lined border. The reverse face has a broken attachment loop. This find has a dark red patina over all faces.

Complete copper alloy 19th century intaglio fob seal. This item is pyramidal in shape, with a flat, oval face where the intaglio sits. The sides of the fob are made from a single, plain band of copper alloy, above which the back of the fob rises to a point, where an attachment (most likely to a chain) has broken off.
