Large rubbing stone of uncertain date. It is sub-oval in plan and oval in cross-section. The edges of the object are burnished and it was probably used for rubbing soft material such as leather or other organic material. The object has been used on both ends, particularly the narrow end. The type of stone and date are uncertain. It has a dark grey patina.
