Record ID: LANCUM-6261D2
Object type: BELL PULL
Broad period: POST MEDIEVAL
County: Cumbria
Workflow stage: Awaiting validation
Possibly a Victorian drawer or bell pull, made from cast cu-alloy. Only 1/2 or 1/4 of it remains; the fragment is largely tear-shaped and it is very likely that the whole object was tear-or drop-shaped, just like a drawer pull. None of the suspension loops or hooks survive; it is thus difficult to determine make a final judgement on what the object was initially made or used for.
