Iron and copper alloy penknife fragment. Two iron blades and possibly another implement for a folding knife, retained between fragmentary flat plain copper alloy side plates of thickness 0.7mm by long rivets – whether one or two is now uncertain. A flat oval plate with faint traces of cross-hatching marks the end of the knife handle. Side plates of bone or ivory would have been secured outside the copper plates which remain and would have butted up to the end plate. A cast copper alloy double looped post medieval buckle with zoomorphic terminals at either end. From one end projects a simplified bird's head in the form of a trefoil and on the other end there is a flaring triangular bird's tail with a transverse ridge. An incomplete post medieval copper alloy double loop oval buckle dating between AD 1550-1650 The frame is roughly oval in plan and D-shaped in cross section, with concave long sides with a projecting knop at either end of the pin bar. The outside edges of each loop also expand into a pointed knop, the internal outside edges are also slightly expanded creating a kidney shaped aperture. A post-Medieval cast copper alloy spur hook. The object has a narrow hooked arm to attach to an eye of the spur terminal, with flanking lobes half way down and a lozengiform rear terminal. This is drilled to take a rivet with a domed and teardrop-shaped head acting as an integral rove to attach to the leathers. Circa 16th-17th century.

An incomplete copper-alloy rowel spur of Post-Medieval date, c.1600 – 1800AD. The spur consists of an ovate sectioned neck which splits to one end forming the rowel box. The rowel is now missing. The curved arms with a D-shaped section. Both arms have been bent and distorted, but each terminate with a pair of button-headed rivets. The spur has a mid-green patina and is worn. Cast dagger hilt incorporating short opposed quillons angled in a shallow S-shape when viewed in plan springing from a rounded central block with a central trapezoid slot for a narrow thick V-section blade [7.3mm by 12.7mm], and with a shell or fan-shaped projection from one other side of the central block and a moulded rib on the last side opposite the latter.
