Roman cast copper alloy bow brooch fragment, lower part of bow & foot only. The upper part of the bow is broken off just above a transverse groove. The remainder of the bow is straight and parallel sided, and decorated with a raised longitudinal ridge with a row of nine pellets to either side, all in high relief. Triple collared moulding at the base of the bow, then conical foot, bevelled at the top and with groove around the base. Roman or Early Medieval copper-alloy finger ring, possibly created as a reuse of an earlier object. The ring consists of a flat band of metal which has been bent round to form a ring. The two ends of the band do not meet, leaving a small gap in the circle of the ring. One end of the band of metal tapers and curves to a pointed terminal but the other end is rather crudely cut off square across the band.
